The National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association proudly announces its 25th Anniversary National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships will return to sunny Fort Myers, FL. The event will be held April 2-6, 2025 at the Fort Myers Skatium, and will bring over 50 active club teams plus alumni teams from across the United States in every NCRHA division together to compete for the title of National Collegiate Roller Hockey Champions.

The 2025 Championships will be hosted by the NCRHA, in conjunction with the Fort Myers Skatium, Lee County Sports, the City of Fort Myers, and USA Roller Hockey. The 25th Anniversary event will be the 3rd time the Championships have been held in Fort Myers, dating back to 2013 and 2017. All games will be broadcast live on NCRHA.tv and available via app and web on smartphones, tablets, Roku, Firestick, and Apple TV.

Teams will represent each of the five conferences of the NCRHA, and each conference will receive an automatic bid to place one team in each division. The rest of the field will be selected at-large from around the country by the NCRHA Selection Committee on “Selection Monday,” March 3, 2025.

The typical format for most divisions includes three round robin games for each team, followed by a single elimination bracket round leading up to the National Championship games. A complete listing of the colleges and universities that will be represented, round robin pools and the game schedule will be available on the NCRHA website, www.NCRHA.org, in March 2025.

As the event nears, the NCRHA website will feature a dedicated section with event details. This will include block schedule, team invitations (bids), and travel information such as airport, hotel, rental car, local attractions, etc. The NCRHA and Lee County Sports will be working together to provide excellent local hotel options for teams and fans that will be available through an online booking system. Teams MAY NOT book hotel rooms through any source other than Lee County Sports’ approved booking engine, as all team hotel bookings must go through the official booking system for the event. Hotel information will be posted by the end of January 2025 and an announcement will be made to all teams when the system is available.

It is only natural for the 25th Anniversary event that the NCRHA has chosen to return again to Fort Myers, FL, as Lee County, the City of Fort Myers, and the Skatium have been fantastic partners through the years. The area is an ideal location for an event such as the National Collegiate Roller Hockey Championships, as it is a popular tourist destination because of its beaches, fishing, golf and shopping. It is also the site of the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, and the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox. Primary attractions include the pristine, world class beaches on the Gulf of Mexico, including the beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel Island. April is a particularly nice month in Fort Myers, with an average high temperature of 84 degrees and a low of 64. Precipitation averages around 2 inches of rain, making April one of the driest months of the year, well below the 10-inch averages of June, July and August. Fort Myers is easily accessible along Interstate 75, and is served by Southwest Florida Regional Airport (RSW) located just southeast of the city.

The Fort Myers Skatium is a facility used by the SECRHL for regular season games. It is a two rink mulit-purpose facility owned by the City of Fort Myers. The Skatium features one ice rink and one rink with SnapSports tiles year round, with the second rink being used for roller hockey, soccer, basketball, and other court-sports. The facility also features a snack bar and hockey pro shop.

The NCRHA is the recognized national governing body of collegiate level roller hockey in the United States. The NCRHA is sanctioned by USA Roller Hockey.
