Things looked bleak for Boston in the second period against Northeastern, trailing 4-1, a comeback didn't seem likely.

Brian Gelblat scored at the 9:02 mark of the period and gave Boston life.

After a timeout with just under a minute to play, Dan Sylvestre tied things up and it looked like it was headed to overtime.

But with :19 seconds to play, Josh Vergules powered his way to the front of the net and slid home the game winning goal.

Northeastern didn't give up, as they manged not one, but two high quality chances before time ran out.

Stony Brook had to be watching, as they pulled a nice comeback off in the following game. Trailing by scores of 3-1 and 4-2, the Seawolves fought back late in the third period. Stony Brook out shot Endicott 18-4 in the third period, but it was a Thomas Palermo goal with 39 seconds to play that finally tied the score.

After exchanging a few chances in overtime, it was Palermo again in the shootout with the winner. Palermo gave the Seawolves 1-0 lead in the shootout after Endicott's first shooter missed.

Goaltender Rory Buckley stood firm in goal, stopping all three Endicott shooters for the win.
