Delaware Skates Past Rutgers 8-5

Seven Delaware players recorded multiple points as Delaware rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to hand Rutgers their first loss of the season, 8-5.
Taylor McCracken lead the way for Delaware, scoring a pair of goals in the first period to get Delaware back even at 2-2.
Gerrard Gallo's snipe in the closing minutes of the second period proved to be the game winning goal as Delaware took a 6-5 lead into the intermission.
Evan Weinberg got the start in goal for Delaware, making 8 saves on 13 shots before giving way to Ryan Davis in the third. Davis closed the door for Delaware, turning aside all 12 shots he faced. Evan Weinberg was credited with the win in goal.
Delaware takes on unbeaten Northeastern (5-0-0) tonight at 10pm.
