Harrisburg, PA - Tyler Walser had three goals and two assists to lead the University of Buffalo to an 8-2 victory over Stony Brook. Stony Brook also fell to Buffalo the night before when they were handed a 4-3 defeat.

Tom D'Ancona got things off to a fast start, giving Stony Brook a lead just over a minute into the game. However, the lead wouldn't hold as Buffalo responded with a pair of goals before the conclusion of the period. Matt McNeil brought Buffalo Even and then Tyler Walser gave them the lead heading into the break.

Buffalo extended the lead when Mike Kaminska, who just sprung from the penalty box found Shaun Golden for a two goal lead. Shortly later, Tlyer Walser broke in all alone on the Stony Brook goal, made a nice move and put Buffalo up 4-1. A few minutes later, Walser found the back of the net again with the man advantage, sniping far post for a 5-1 lead. Alex Durinka finished the scoring in the period with two more goals to give Buffalo a commanding 7-1 lead after two.

With time winding down in the third period, Stony Brook finally got on the board again when Derek Blatchley picked up a lose puck in the slot and fired a wrist shot into the back of the net to make it a 7-2 game.
