Harrisburg, PA - Captains Michael Migliaro and Tom Cartwright scored three goals each for their respective teams in a 5-5 tie.

Special Teams didn't take long to be a factor when West Point and Stony Brook exchanged power play tallies early in the first. Tom Cartwright got it started for Stony Brook, but was quickly answer by West Point captain Michael Migliaro.

Things stayed the same until five minutes into the second period when Migliaro scored for the second time, burying a nice pass from Todd Graham to take the 2-1 lead. Not to be outdone by the opposing captain, Tom Cartwright fired home his second goal of the game with the man advantage to tie the game at two. Cartwright finished the hat trick shortly later, scoring his third power play goal of the game and second of the period to give Stony Brook a 3-2 lead.

Stony Brook extended the lead with a power play tally by Tom Fargardo early in the third period. However, a 20 minute delay ensued because of condensation on the rink that made the playing conditions more suited for a swimming than inline hockey. After returning from the locker room and a quick warmup, the final 9:06 of the game was played out. Thomas Gomez brought West Point back to one goal when he fired home a rebound and Nick Stortini tied the game at 4-4 when he scored with a man advantage to set up an exciting finish.

Stony Brook responded quickly when Paul Valvo found the back of the net moments later to put the Seawolves back on top 5-4. Michael Migliaro came right back and tied things up, scoring his third goal of the game for West Point to finish the scoring.
