Feasterville, PA - The first season under the new divisional alignment is finished and the newly formed Division III has a suprise champion. The University of Scranton Royals claimed the DIII title by beating Loyola College twice en route to the championship.

Loyola was the pre-tournament favorite to take the crown, but Scranton was just too much for the Greyhounds. Scranton took that Championship contest by a final score of 7-3.

In the B Division Championship, Penn State continued to topple to top seeded teams, pounding the West Chester University Golden Rams 10-1. Penn State won the first B Championship in school history after falling to Buffalo last year in the title game. For the Seniors on the team it was a long time coming after numerous heart breaks along the way. With the Championship, Penn State has clinched their trip to the national championship tournament in April.

Congrats to both Penn State and Scranton!
