Neumann College Defends DII Crown

Feasterville, PA - Neumann College came into the game with the sole purpose of becoming just the second team in ECRHA DII history to successfully defend their division championship. And after a dominat first period they were well on the way to meeting those goals.
Neumann scored four unanswered goals in the first period, by four different players to open a four goal cushion that West Chester was never able to close. West Chester started the scoring in the second period with the first tally of the game for the Golden Rams before Neumann regrouped and scored two more goals to build an insurmounable 6-1 lead heading into the final frame.
West Chester was able to control the play in the final period, scoring three goals, but two came with an empty net and time simply ran out as Neumann repeated their Division II championship.
In the Junior College Division, Suffolk finished out the two game sweep of Nassau in winning their sixth championship in seven seasons.
