Feasterville, PA - In a rematch of last season championship game, arch rivals Buffal and Penn State sqaured off with a trip to the title game handing in the balance. Last season, Ryan Kelly scored five minutes into overtime to clinch the title for Buffalo. This time around things were different as Adam Bogert scored the game winning goal with 43 seconds remaining in the second period to give Penn State a shocking 2-1 victory.

Knowing that Penn State always shows up for big games, Buffalo came out and got the early 1-0 and took the life out of Penn State from the start. Eric Kalita scored for Buffalo after hammering home a rebound just past the outstreched pad of the goalie.

Coming out of the intermission, Penn State caught Buffalo napping and got things knotted back up at 1-1 just a few moments into the second period. However, the game went right back to a defensive struggle until just under a minute reamained in the second period until Bryan Reel found Adam Bogert at the far post for the go-ahead goal and a 2-1 lead heading into the third period.

Penn State's resolve held in the third period when they block shot after shot from Buffalo and refused them any room in the offensive zone while still being able to maintain pressure all the way. When all was said and done, this time it was all about Penn State.

Penn State will be making their second consecutive trip to the regional championship where they will face West Chester. West Chester beat Suffolk Gold 5-0 in the other semifinal game.
