Shippensburg Drops Two Against Lunatics

Lunatics Minor team last night. In a closely contested game, the Raiders offense
fell short resulting in two losses. In the first game, the Lunatics held of the
Raiders attack early and capitalized one the chances they got. When Josh
Hartshorne scored late in the game to cut the lead to three, the Raiders had a
sign of hope, however the time ran out on the game and the Raiders fell 4-1. In
the second game the Raiders the offense was completely shut down and the
Lunatics found the back of the net for a 3-0 victory. The Raiders were without
starting goalie Steve Parker, who was out with an injury. John DeLoretta played
well in net, but without any offensive support, he ended up with losses in both
game. Shippensburg was also without leading scorer Tommy Hagg and the second
leading scorer Tom Cavanaugh.
