The D1 Tigers faced a familiar scenario as they headed back to
Feasterville

PA
for The Regional weekend. After packing their vans full of hockey bags and sticks, there seems to be that one piece of hardware they are required to bring back to Feasterville. The ECRHA Division 1 Regional Championship Trophy. For the third year in a row of their four years of existence in the league, the Tigers would battle to see that trophy back in their van upon departing Feasterville. The Tigers crushed rival
Maryland
in their first game and continued by beating UConn 5-2 in regular pool play.
Towson
?s elite scorers and solid goaltending dominated
Binghamton
8-1 in their in the quarterfinals match. The semifinals, however, posed more of a challenge for the Tigers as they had to defend against a potent
Buffalo
offense.
Towson
weathered the storm by controlling the game and only allowing three goals. With a score of 5-3 the Tigers moved on the ECRHA Championships against a never before seen
Boston

. It did not take long for the defending champs to strike, scoring only a few minutes into the game and two more times shortly thereafter. The score after the first period was 5-0 and Tigers never looked back. The Towson Tigers Division 1 team racked up their third Regional Championship 11-5. The beginning of a Dynasty??
