Information for New Players

ECRHA January 12th, 2006 at 5:59PMWe are nearing the end of a one-month break that we had for the holidays. With the second semester fast approaching, we are looking for additional 1-2 players for both our Division 1 team and our B team. Both teams compete in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (www.ecrha.net), and both teams are enjoying tremendously successful seasons in which both teams are nationally-ranked in the top 10.
With more than half of our season complete, and both of our teams sitting atop their respective conferences, we are looking to make a run at the Regional Championship. We are opening the roster up to any newcomers looking to earn a roster spot.
As it stands, we will open the second semester with an open practice on Monday, January 23rd at 9 PM at the Center Circle in Rahway, NJ. The session will last from 9 PM- 11 PM. All players and coaches from both competitive teams will be on hand to run drills and evaluate all new players. Being a new player, you'd be required to pay the one-time $25 tryout fee that is standard for the first time that any new player gets evaluated.
To be eligible to play, you need to be taking 9 credits in undergraduate classes, or you have to be "pursuing a graduate degree", which has no minimum credit requirement.
