Tier I - Drexel vs. Lehigh
20-Nov-05
Lehigh 7, Drexel 4 - After their disappointing loss to Kutztown last week, Drexel C continued their improved play against Lehigh University. Lehigh kicked off the scoring in the first, but Drexel?s Mike Jacobson answered with a quick, low shot to tie the game. Mike then scored two more in the first to cap off a natural hat trick and end the first 3-1. Unfortunately, the Dragons? offense fizzled and Lehigh capitalized on several power plays, as well as some poor play in the defensive zone to take the lead 3-5. Brad Wright responded in the third with a goal on a shot from the boards, but Lehigh struck back to make the game 4-6. An empty netter with just over a minute left sealed the deal for Lehigh and Drexel C was handed their 6th regulation loss of the year.

Tier II - Drexel vs. Neumann
20-Nov-05
Neumann 10, Drexel 4 - Drexel D had a tough schedule to start this year, playing a very skilled Neumann College team three times in their first five games. The growing rivalry became clearly evident this weekend in their third meeting, as tempers flared and Drexel found themselves shorthanded many times thanks to some bad penalties. Being shorthanded for what seemed like the majority of the game, Drexel had little chance to establish any offense. After a fairly even first period, the Neumann powerplay capitalized on Drexel's mistakes on several occasions, leaving the Dragons down by two goals at the end of the period. Frustrations continued to mount in the third and Drexel dug itself deeper with more penalties.
The Dragons simply spent far too much time on the penalty kill and could not sustain enough pressure in Neumann's end of the rink. Despite a lot of hard work and two shorthanded goals, the Tier II Drexel squad was handed its fifth loss of the season.
