After opening the weekend with back-to-back losses, Stony Brook finally got their first win in overtime against Ohio State. Ohio State's Mohammed Dweik scored with 2:50 left in the third period to force overtime, but it was James Loglisci's rebound goal in overtime that propelled Stony Brook to the victory.

East Carolina improved to 2-0-0 in the tournament, taking down Northeastern 5-1. Jacob Pruett lead the way for the Pirates, scoring three goals in the victory.

East Carolina will take on Akron at 9:00 PM tonight, and that game will most likely decide who takes home the ECRHA Challenge Cup.
